Due Diligence, The Process In a Nutshell

Here's a 30,000 foot view of what we do in a nutshell with each and every client. While this is not an exhaustive list, it pretty much covers the basics of our core processes.

Initial Consultation
We’ll discuss your project, target audience, top competitors and campaign goals. We will then roll out a customized strategy unique to your business. After we are all feeling comfortable about the prospect of working together, we begin to work on either building out a new campaign or optimizing existing campaigns.
Conversion Code
We can’t optimize a campaign and grow your company's ROI without knowing what keywords are winners and which ones are losers! We’ll install the conversion code on your website(s) thank you page or what's commonly known as a conversion page. If applicable we can also direct your in-house team on how to do this as well.
Google Analytics
We want to make sure your Google Analytics is set-up properly as well. So we will go ahead and tie that all together for you, making sure all the data points are clicking!
Geo Targeting
Are your clients local, national or international? We can target based on states, cities, counties, zip codes, neighborhoods, countries, etc.
Keyword Selection
This applies to both keywords we want to go after and keywords we don't want Google to show ads for. Sound confusing? Let's talk about it for a minute. Say you want to generate some personal injury leads in your area. It makes sense we'd go after a term like personal injury attorney [area], so if we're bidding on the broad match term "personal injury attorney" guess what, Google is going to show our ads for terms like “personal injury lawyer definition, personal injury lawyer reviews, personal injury lawyer job description”. It will show our ads for those terms because they are closely related. So to mitigate some damage we will set negative keywords like definition, reviews, job description, etc.
Landing Page Design
We offer landing pages. We'll also help consult any in-house designer you have on payroll in the design aspects of what we need at no additional charge. If you need us to build out a page for you it will be an additional cost. We use a landing page SaaS Instapage, which allows us to create multiple versions of your landing page and let Instapage’s proprietary algorithm automatically A/B test different versions against each other so that we're always running traffic to the highest converting page.
Phone Call Tracking
If your business goals include phone call conversions we will optimize your campaign/landing page to drive tracked phone call conversions. We can either create a separate 'call only' campaign to drive calls or we can optimize your existing campaign and bid higher for mobile traffic. In addition, we can track all of your phone calls that came from your Adwords campaigns to fine tune ROI.
Ad Copywriting
We’re not trying to toot our own horns here but we’ve been pumping out copy for a long time, we know what works and what doesn’t. Our ads have incredible CTR rates, which in turn lead to higher quality scores and overall. a more optimal performing campaign.
Bid Management
This is so simple, which is hard to understand for us because most companies need all kinds of fancy tools and software to do this. We decrease or drop bids on loser keywords and increase on winners. 2+2=4 ... not "def find_max (L): max = 0 for x in L: if x > max: max = x return max". Good grief!! Let’s not over complicate things, KISS .. Keep It Simple Simon!
Ad Schedule
It’s in your best interest to set-up times for your ads to start and stop. Let’s be realistic, it's not going to be the greatest lead that comes through at 1:54 am or phone call that comes in after you've closed the doors. We advise all our clients to run a little before business hours and a little after.
Weekly Reporting
Once a week, every Tuesday, we generate a report detailing the past 7 days of AdWords account activity from your Adwords campaigns. It will also compare the new week to the previous week so you'll be able to see campaign progression. Also, on the 1st of every month, you will be notified of all inbound call data including all available call recordings (if you want). You can expect an email from us letting you know these reports are available inside the member's area.
Monthly Consultation
While reports are great, they don't tell the whole story. Once per month we'll reach out and talk with you about your campaigns, make recommendations, answer questions, and keep you updated on all the latest developments as it pertains to your Adwords campaigns.
